CalPhos®--is a soft, phosphatic clay originating in Florida. CALPHOS contains a minimum of 17% total P2O5, with 3% available P2O5. It contains a minimum of 20% calcium.
CALPHOS is available in a finely ground, powder-like form with 80% of the material passing a 200 mesh screen.
CALPHOS is also available in granular form. Granular CALPHOS can be blended with other fertilizers. The granular form is also easy to apply.
CALPHOS can be effective in managing animal waste. Studies have shown that by adding phosphate to manure, the ammonia is tied up, therefore reducing odor.
Packaging Options: CALPHOS is packaged in 50 LB. amd 2000 LB. bags as well as bulk.
