Dimension lumber varies widely between a required grade to a desired length. Most dimension lumber is categorized under Douglas Fir, Hem-Fir (Hemlock and Fir mixed), SPF (Spruce-Pine-Fir), and Southern Yellow Pine. Although there are other species available with different usage and originating region, the above species comprise the majority of what North Pacific supplies.

Usual grade requirements depend on the usage of the material from Select Structural grade to Economy grade. We can supply in both Green (non-kiln dried) or Kiln Dried. In KD form, typical moisture content will be 19% or less. Although typical dimension lumber comes in S4S (surfaced 4 sides), we can also supply rough surface in certain sizes.

Last but not least, the size could be the most important information. Certain lengths or widths may cause major obstacles for some species. Also, the price changes depending on whether the customer can accept random length or specific length only.
