NPi-joist

NPi I-Joist—Made from high-grade LVL and OSB, NPi I-Joists allow architects and engineers to specify a product that performs to a higher standard than 2x sawn lumber joists. They can design structures that are more open, which consumers find more appealing. NPi I-Joists are also more dimensionally stable than sawn lumber joists. As a builder, NPi I-Joists save you time and money. They will not warp, twist or shrink and they are more uniform in size.

ALLOW DESIGN FLEXIBILITY
The availability of long lengths allows multiple span installations, thus speeding construction by eliminating the need to lap joists over bearing walls or support beams. This also means fewer pieces to handle. The availability of long lengths and relatively deep joists also gives designers the freedom to create more open spaces and reduces the need for supporting walls, columns, or beams.

DIMENSIONALLY STABLE
I-Joists will not warp, twist, or shrink, and are more uniform in their dimensions than sawn lumber joists. The L/480 maximum live load deflection criteria of APA PRITMs combined with their straightness and uniformity provides a stiffer, more uniform floor with fewer squeaks, resulting in higher customer satisfaction.

LIGHTWEIGHT
Because I-Joists typically weigh less than half of comparable conventional framing lumber, they can be installed quickly and efficiently.

NP-LVL & NP-Rimboard—You've probably been building with traditional sawn lumber beams and headers for as long as you've been building. Now through advances in technology and design, there is a better choice—North Pacific Lumber NP-Lam LVL headers and beams. They are simply a better alternative than traditional sawn lumber pieces. Work with a stronger, stiffer, more consistent and more predictable building material. Compared with similar sized sections, our NP-Lam LVL headers and beams can support heavier loads and allow greater spans than conventional lumber. Each piece of NP-Lam LVL is pressure sprayed witha UV inhibitor and sealed with emulsified wax.

Rosboro      Rosboro Glulam      Rosboro Big Beam      Rosboro IJC Glulam

Rosboro Glulam and Big Beams®—The big daddy of our I-joist compatible beams, the BigBeam (30F) is designed as the perfect beam for engineered flooring systems. Made from kiln-dried lumber, and engineered to match standard I-joist depths and wall framing widths, the Rosboro BigBeam is the beam of choice for today's builder.

The workhorse of the Rosboro line of glulam products, Rosboro Glulam is available in architectural and framing appearances. With increased design values, a standard camber of 3,500 ft. radius, and a wide range of sizes (widths 3-1/8" through 8-3/4", depths 6" through 30" in 1-1/2" increments), this dependable beam is better than ever.

3-1/2" IJC 24F 1.8E. This I-joist compatible 24F beam was designed to match standard I-joist depths and framing widths. IJC-24F has zero camber and is available in depths of 9-1/2", 11-7/8", 14", 16" and 18" and is an ideal component for modern floor systems.
